Bentley Bristol support Clifton College’s bi-annual Percival Dinner

Bentley Bristol proudly supported Clifton College's bi-annual Percival Dinner on Saturday 5th October, which money is raised to support bursary funds for less privileged students to attend the school.
Bentley Motors founder W.O. Bentley studied at Clifton College where he found his love for engineering, which inspired him to found the most famous, luxury automotive brand in the world. In our centenary year, it seemed only natural to support the school with the dinner and raising all-important proceeds.
Dr Tim Green, Headmaster of Clifton College comments "We are proud of the fact that the College has been able to provide a broach and enriching education to those who would not normally be able to access a school such as ours. Our ability to offer such support to future pupils relies heavily on the philanthropy of others, who have, through their personal generosity, changed the lives of young people. We are delighted to be part of Bentley's Centenary celebrations and hugely appreciate the company's involvement in the Percival Dinner".
On the evening of the dinner, Bentley Bristol were pleased to display a Bentayga & Mulsanne Speed to welcome guests through the same archway that W.O. once walked. Guests were invited upstairs to explore an exhibition dedicated to W.O. before taking a seat for the dinner and auction.
David Harries, Bentley Bristol Brand Manager, comments "It feels very fitting that 100 years after W.O. Bentley and his brother created the first Bentley that we are able to celebrate the link between W.O. and this wonderful city".
A fantastic total of £75,000 has been raised and will go towards supporting students who may not otherwise be fortunate enough to attend the school. Please enjoy our attached gallery of the Bentayga & Mulsanne Speeds in the gorgeous grounds of Clifton College.
