Bentley Bristol Celebrate 100 Extraordinary Years
Posted in News | 02/04/2019
As Bentley approach their 100th birthday on July 10th 2019, at Rybrook Bentley Bristol we decided it's an achievement worth celebrating style and gave our guests a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to dine underneath Concorde for an Extraordinary Dinner.
An occasion as special as a centenary was the perfect opportunity to invite our guests to dine underneath the last Concorde to be built, and also the last to fly on 26th November 2003. On arrival, guests enjoyed being chauffeured to the entrance in a Bentayga, walking through the cabin of Concorde and were served a variety of welcome cocktails before being invited downstairs to take a seat for dinner. Welcomed by a variety of Bentley's, including an R Type Continental and Number 9 Continental GT by Mulliner, and a beautifully laid table running under the length of the plane, guests knew they were in for a truly memorable evening.
Designed to give guests an insight into the legendary story of Bentley, the five course meal shared the menu which was used to celebrate Bentley's first 24 Hours of Le Mans win in 1924, where they took the winning car to The Savoy Hotel in London and dined around it. In between courses, guests were played interactive videos telling the story of Bentley which showed how both the cars and exceptionally talented people are at the heart of everything they do.
