The group has appointed the vastly-experienced Craig Moran as Market Area Fleet Manager to work alongside Business Development Manager, Richard McClay, who looks after the needs of local companies in and around the York area. The team, which will shortly be expanded with a second Business Development Manager based at Mercedes-Benz North Yorkshire’s other site in Harrogate, is ably assisted and administered by Fleet Support Executive, Gary Holroyd.

With a wealth of collective motor industry experience, the team is able to offer a personal and professional approach to the acquisition and running of a corporate fleet. The group’s York showroom will play host to a Business Fleet Forum on Thursday 17^th May (4pm – 6pm), when the team will be joined by industry specialists who will offer advice to companies on new legislation, company car taxation, effective funding and the effect of the recent Budget on fleets.

2012 certainly promises to be an exciting year for the Mercedes-Benz North Yorkshire team, which has just welcomed the latest addition to its product portfolio in the shape of the new B-Class – the sports tourer showcasing the manufacturer’s future intentions for its compact car range.

“The new B-Class is an exciting addition to the Mercedes-Benz fold and it will shortly be joined by the latest version of the M-Class 4x4, with both new arrivals enhancing our corporate offering alongside the key C-Class and E-Class ranges which continue to generate huge interest thanks to their improved CO2 efficiency and lower running costs,” continued Craig.

“With the lowest emissions in its class, the highest specification amongst its rivals and the most affordable contract hire costs ever on an E-Class, models such as the E 220 CDI Executive SE are proving that when whole life costs are taken into account, a Mercedes-Benz really does make business sense.”
