Welcome to Mercedes-Benz North Yorkshire Fleet Sales
Mercedes Benz Fleet

Mercedes-Benz North Yorkshire is putting the region’s businesses in the driving seat for affordable motoring and exceptional service by strengthening its Corporate Sales operation.
The group has appointed the vastly-experienced Craig Moran as Market Area Fleet Manager to work alongside Business Development Manager, Richard McClay, who looks after the needs of local companies in and around the York area. The team, which will shortly be expanded with a second Business Development Manager based at Mercedes-Benz North Yorkshire’s other site in Harrogate, is ably assisted and administered by Fleet Support Executive, Gary Holroyd.
With a wealth of collective motor industry experience, the team is able to offer a personal and professional approach to the acquisition and running of a corporate fleet. Whether organisations are owner-operators seeking a single car or blue-chip corporations requiring dozens, all can benefit from the expert knowledge and tailored service now offered by Mercedes-Benz North Yorkshire to find the most cost-effective and tax-efficient vehicles for their needs.
The group’s York showroom will play host to a Business Fleet Forum on Thursday 17th May (4pm – 6pm), when the team will be joined by industry specialists who will offer advice to companies on new legislation, company car taxation, effective funding and the effect of the recent Budget on fleets.
“We realise that every business or individual has different requirements and recognise that, whether managing a fleet or choosing their next company car, our clients have many issues to consider – from running costs to selecting the right financing,” explained Craig, who is relishing his first taste of the retail sector after serving the contract hire industry in various sales management roles for the past 28 years.
“At Mercedes-Benz North Yorkshire, we pride ourselves on offering a personalised, consultative service covering areas such as CO2, tax, Duty of Care and Benefit in Kind (BIK), which is extremely topical with a rate increase looming in April,“ he added. “With a strong strategic focus, networking and online marketing, we are proactively seeking to present a genuine business case for Mercedes-Benz to companies across the region which will prove that the latest models are not only aspirational but achievable and affordable too.”
2012 certainly promises to be an exciting year for the Mercedes-Benz North Yorkshire team, which has just welcomed the latest addition to its product portfolio in the shape of the new B-Class – the sports tourer showcasing the manufacturer’s future intentions for its compact car range.
“The new B-Class is an exciting addition to the Mercedes-Benz fold and it will shortly be joined by the latest version of the M-Class 4x4, with both new arrivals enhancing our corporate offering alongside the key C-Class and E-Class ranges which continue to generate huge interest thanks to their improved CO2 efficiency and lower running costs,” continued Craig.
“With the lowest emissions in its class, the highest specification amongst its rivals and the most affordable contract hire costs ever on an E-Class, models such as the E 220 CDI Executive SE are proving that when whole life costs are taken into account, a Mercedes-Benz really does make business sense.”
Mercedes Benz Fleet car costs
When calculating the real cost of ownership, it’s not just the price of the new car you need to take into account. Servicing and repairs, fuel bills, tax and depreciation all take their toll over time. Fortunately, Mercedes-Benz vehicles offer high residual values, low maintenance costs and efficient fuel economy.
With Mercedes-Benz, you may pay a little more initially, but your cars will almost certainly be less costly in the medium and longer term.
