Range Rover Sport
New advanced, efficient and powerful engines, improved fuel economy and reduced CO2 emissions thanks to e_TERRAIN technologies are combined with new styling and even higher levels of luxury as well as improved on and off-road dynamic driving capabilities in the new Range Rover Sport.
The range has been enhanced for 2011 with a new entry level version of the class leading 3.0 LR-TDV6 as well as a new Limited Edition, available on 3.0 TDV6 HSE and 5.0 V8 HSE derivatives.
Across the range, the 2011 version includes new features and technologies and all diesel models are equipped with Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) as standard and all meet Euro 5 emissions making them among the cleanest diesel engines on the market.
The new 3.0 LR-TDV6 delivers 211PS at 4,000rpm and 520Nm torque at 2,000rpm while achieving the same high levels of refinement and response as the more powerful 245PS version. Packed with innovation design features aimed at boosting both performance and economy, 5.0 LR-V8 Supercharged continues from 2010 and combines its supreme power and refinement with impressively low CO2 emissions of 348g/km.
Both the petrol and diesel engines are equipped with the ultra-refined ZF HP28 6-speed automatic transmission. Its characteristics have been optimised by Land Rover engineers to provide the same class-leading response and rapid, refined shifts on all engines.
Off-road ability is improved even further with enhanced features on the 2011 Range Rover Sport including Hill Start Assist and Gradient Acceleration Control.
The range incorporates Land Rover’s e_TERRAIN Technologies, designed to provide maximum performance and refinement whilst delivering the lowest possible CO2 emissions and greater fuel economy.
